Harris CapRock Equipment Donation

Many thanks from RGU CSDM to the team at Harris CapRock for a donation of CISCO networking equipment.

Global Infrastructure Director (Dale Gray), Engineering Manager (Jay Gray) and Operations Engineer (Obinna Edward Onugha) visited the computing labs at The Sir Ian Wood Building during our summer equipment refresh and brought along a very useful set of CISCO kit. 6 switches and 4 routers, among which are our first Gigabit speed edge switches! This will allow students enrolled on the Computer Network Management and Design course a chance to experiment with high performance switching.

In future we hope to arrange time for our CNMD students to engage with Harris CapRock and learn more about the real world implementation of the CISCO theory gained in class.
